The Forcadell Office Department, through its real estate consultants, has guided the company in the rental of its new facilities in Barcelona.
Forcadell, the real estate consulting firm, has advised SBC Business Centers on the expansion of its network of business centers in Barcelona. The transaction was made through the rental of a 338 sqm office located in the attic of a building in Plaça Universitat. The facilities chosen by the company have wide spaces with great luminosity, with 2 terraces. The office restorations will end on April 1 and SBC will incorporate the new Top City concept into its service catalog. It is a totally innovative project that will allow its most exclusive clients to work in an urban environment, but enjoying privileged views of the heart of the city thanks to these new offices with private terrace.
According to Manel de Bes, Director of the Office Department of Forcadell, "the availability of offices in the city of Barcelona is currently at 10%, but if we look at the prestigious Prime Zone the rate is reduced to 2%." Quality in Barcelona is still possible, as exemplified by the transaction between SBC Business Centers and Forcadell. However, "some companies are beginning to value options distanced from the city center with interesting features such as sustainability, technological and open-plan office buildings," adds Bes.
SBC Business Centers (www.centros-sbc.com), a company created in 2003 in Barcelona, opened its first business center in the Lesseps area. It currently has 6 centers in the Catalan capital, while it will soon open its first center in Madrid. The company plans to expand later to other Spanish cities such as Valencia, Bilbao and Sevilla and plans international projects. SBC is currently the largest Spanish group of Business Centers in Barcelona and is the national leader in terms of turnover and number of clients.
