Monday gets ready its 3rd co-working center in Barcelona advised by Forcadell

  • The flexible spaces operator owned by Urbania plans to open its new center in June.

  • The new Monday co-working center has surface of more than 1.500 sqm of and a capacity for 200 workers.

Forcadell has advised Monday on the rental of an office building of over 1.500 sqm located next to av. Diagonal and a few meters from pg. de Gràcia in Barcelona. Specifically, the new Monday center is located on Riera de Sant Miquel Street, next to the new Seat flagship -which is expected to open in the nex few months- and a large volume of business of first-class international brands. The co-working center, owned by the real estate group Urbania Internacional has two flexible spaces in operating in Barcelona, located in Barceloneta and av. Tibidabo, and this will be its third co-working space in the Catalan capital. 

Urbania International plans to open up to 8 more locations in the rest of Spain within 2 years and will offer in its new co-working flexible work spaces that adapt to the needs of each company, either through private offices, personal or flexible tables. Among the additional services offered by the operator, there is a gym, playground, Lounge & Relax room, events room, a 300 sqm terrace, plus a series of business services such as accounting, marketing and information technology, among others. The building also has an underground floor with parking spaces. In line with the other two centers of Monday, the new co-working center of Diagonal will have a capacity to house up to 200 workers.

The real estate group Urbania entered the co-working sector last September through the Monday brand, opening two centers in the city of Barcelona. In addition to the new Diagonal center, it plans to open another one throughout 2019. The company plans, in the same line, to expand through the Spanish territory and to open between 8 and 9 more centers over the next few years, coordinated with the boom of the sector.
